"We’ve been using UltraGrid for the past few years now, primarily for demonstrations at some big events, and showcasing it to universities within the UK, whom have begun looking at the value of UltraGrid with in their own institutions. Being able to showcase video up to 4k using a solution that it easily attainable and free to use is a huge benefit to the UK education and research sector."

Emma Smith

"At the New World Symphony, Ultragrid is our tool of choice for high-resolution video streaming as it offers a high degree of flexibility and reliability. It is amazing what you are able to achieve with consumer computer components and the software. The Ultragrid team is also hugely supportive and willing to help new users get off the ground quickly."

"We use Ultragrid to present networked performances of dance and music, using high bandwidth networks between Barcelona and other cities across the world."

Alain Baumann

"Within LiveMediaStreamer framework project we can use UltraGrid as a far-end client, as a transmitter and/or receiver, in order to reach mimimum delay. We have tested other clients but this is the only one that lets achieve minimum overall latency when mixing different sources. Indeed we both CESNET and i2CAT Foundation carried out a TNA with results explained in our News section."

"We used Ultragrid to conduct a distributed performance between us in Las Vegas and the UK. The students performed and interacted with each other through large life size projection screens. There were two live performances and the event was also streamed online. Here's a link to our website providing a description and an archive of the streamed event.

Although our first project involved performing arts, we seek other institutions to collaborate in any space."

"UltraGrid is SFJAZZ’s “go-to” platform for artistic collaboration on the Research Education Network. We have executed distributed performances with higher education jazz studies programs across the nation, master-class with peering institutions, and mass performance and workshop distribution with interactive elements involving public libraries. The support from the UG Team is nothing short of phenomenal. UltraGrid is the SFJAZZ standard."
